iPod customers have nothing to do with iPhone customers…but you are right, its so hard to get into market, where people are happy with they products (like zune vs iPod)…but its same with the computers today, its so hard to sell Mac, when users are happy with Windows….you dont have to have better product, but enter into market, where people arent satisfied with their products…so there is no sense, why microsoft entered market with portable music players…
Hey guys, the point in Zune vs iPod is that when Microsoft arrived in the portable players market, Apple’s iPod was already the leader and with a great advantage, Apple done things very well and it is too hard to start from zero in a new market where there is a strong leader. The success of iPhone is based in taking iPod customers to iPhone, the strategy was not to compete with the other cell brands directly but making the iPod customers buy an iPhone…

Guys come on, I have a windows mobile device and I just have to say that Apple’s iPhone is a lot better on gaming dan my HTC Touch Diamond. Even if you have the xperia, the diamond2 or pro2 or whatever, it will not catch up with the nice gaming performance of the iphone. Just give in you are jealous! I am jealous too!:P
Not true, Apple has a base of fans who will buy anything that they produce. Plus, it’s an iPod. Despite being a better MP3 player then the iPod, the Zune, HD or not, will not surpass the iPod.

Uhu, well I’ll believe it when I see it to be honest. MS has lost out for sometime to Apple in the media device race and has never caught up. The new iPod Touch will be out in September.
Doesn’t matter what Apple has. Microsoft has time and money to make whatever they have better. So when I say they’ll lay down the hammer, you can be sure its going to happen soon.
Does it matter? My iPhone can, gosh, make telephone calls and send text! Can the Zune HD do that? Not that ther’s anything wrong with the Zune but when you state MS is about to ‘lay down the hammer’ then you become a bit on an idiot as you forget it’s a full phone as well. Oh, and I found 2500 games on the Apple App store.

Nothing really. but I think the Zune or microsoft appstore will be good. Just not as big. I have an ipod touch so I know what the apps are like.
