Should I Get Rid Of My iPhone 3G?

I have had my iPhone 3g (white 16gb) for two months and honestly I am not too impressed. The two biggest things people like about the iPhone 3G is GPS and of course 3G speed. First off, I already have a TomTom GPS and the GPS built into the iPhone doesn’t have turn by turn. Next, I barely even use the 3G network. I live in Rhode Island and I really don’t get any coverage at all besides my house, and at my house I just use WiFi. The only thing I really like about it is the iPod function, but I could easily just buy the new iPod Nano instead, and still save money. As of now, I do not have a texting plan with my iPhone because the monthly bill is already pretty high. I spend w/taxes around + a month. I wanted to return my iPhone and get something else but unfortunately I am passed the 30 day return policy. I have my mind set on getting the Blackberry Curve instead. I am not going to get the data plan for it, I am just going to get unlimited texting. (I know it’s better with the data plan, but I just don’t need it).

Thank you.

Allright, I would get rid of the iphone, I hate them too, they are too pricey, if you like the touch screen interface try the LG Vu, and if you get the blackberry, you have to get the data plan, that’s what they told me at the store the other day, however if you would get the pantech duo, or the blackjack 2 you don’t, but for everything on any phone it’s 35 bucks a month (same as the iphone)

I would take just unlimited texting any day over the internet I would never use.
