Some people, especially if they’re young, might find themselves wondering why phone answering machines are even necessary. After all, leaving a voice mail or message is just as easy on a cell phone and some businesses even give dedicated phones to their employees. Even jobs that require you to talk on the phone most of the time do not require answering machines, as you will end up answering the calls or putting people on hold anyway. Despite this, answering machines do not seem to be going anywhere.
